Rozafa Castle

One of Albania’s most spectacular experiences, the Komani Lake ferry crosses through a dramatic canyon lake in the mountains. Kruja (1.5 hours)

Driving Tips for Shkodra and North Albania
Roads in north Albania can be challenging. The main roads are generally good, but the mountain roads to Valbona and Theth are rough – often unpaved and very narrow. A 4×4 is recommended for mountain driving, though many visitors manage with standard cars by taking their time.
