Driving in Colombo

Sri Lanka drives on the left. Colombo traffic is chaotic — tuk-tuks, buses, and pedestrians share the road. Drive defensively. The highways (E01, E02, E03) are good. Speed limits are 100 km/h on highways, 70 km/h on main roads and 50 km/h in towns.

Parking in Colombo is at the malls and hotels — expect LKR 100–200 per hour. At the temples, use the designated car parks. In Galle, parking is inside the fort.
